Long-term relationship
The investment is just the beginning of our relationship with the businesses we back. As hands-on investors we aim to support management in strategic decision making. We will always ask for a board seat so that we can represent our portfolio companies as directors and work with them to build the business. We provide links into Tate & Lyle and to a broader network of venture capital firms, investment banks, industrial partners and technology providers. We are aiming to play a supporting, not managing, role and look forward to a transparent relationship with the management teams we work with.
